Learning to make the best of something isn’t what anyone really dreams of. What we dream of is the ideal. A perfect floorplan. A well-built home. Everything in good working order.
The canisters worked great for some things (spaghetti) but not for others (snacks). And those distracting, messy packages? It turns out they sometimes have directions I need.
But this is what the chatty shop lady and I agreed on: original art can enhance our lives in a way that commercial art can't, and I want in on the creation.
