Rubbish

What is that word

dang, I
can’t think of it.

It means
something like
junk
only that is
a little too
plain or
material.

Filth is a word for it,
sure,
but it’s a bit too
distressing.

Trash is the simplest word
but it is evoking
used tissues
junk mail and
banana peels,
you know?

Rubbish.
That’s the word.

This. This is a
great word.
And, as a bonus,
it’s fun to say: rubbish.

Still, I feel a slight pang of
guilt
for using it in
this Rotten Tomatoes
review.
